Summary: 
In order to realize the coexistence of the closely placed relay/base stations of the multiple wireless systems, whose operation frequencies are identical or close, authors have proposed a spatial decoupling technique using analog feed network, where either system uses the array antenna and directs its null pattern to another system. In this paper, a new spatial decoupling technique is proposed even for the array antenna having strong mutual coupling. By using a matching network for the array antenna, the desired excitation weight can be given and the null directivity is formed correctly. Based on the simulation and measurement, it is clarified that the proposed decoupling technique is effective in achieving high isolation over the broad frequency band.
