Summary: 
In this paper, we propose the differential operation type monostable multivibrator corresponding to operational amplifier of both and single power supplies specification with the clamping circuit. This circuit never goes over the maximum rating by the amplitude of the input voltage and doesn't rush into the dead region. Moreover, the current doesn't flow to the resistance of the time constant circuit at the stable state. In addition, the metastable time is not influenced at the trigger period and the calculated and the measured values agree very well.
