We consider the convergence of an iterative method for inverting image filters on the basis of the contraction mapping theorem. The convergence process of the amplitude response curve of the iterated filter is analyzed with a graph spectral method. Relation between this iterative method and the iterative regularization for texture recovery in denoising filters is also examined.
