Summary: An Optimization design of conductor geometry in an H-plane waveguide circuit by the level set method is proposed, and applied to T-junction optimization. The optimized structure obtained here has better frequency characteristics than those of Y-junction. Also, it is shown that the optimized structure is reduced to an easily fabricated one.
