Summary:
We propose a new non-linear image resizing method, which achieves the pixel connectivity which is defined as the intensity difference between neighbor pixels. Our method computes optimal paths of pixels like seam carving method. The optimality is calculated with an energy function which is defined by the pixel connectivity change between an original image and its resized image. The minimal energy can select a seam which achieves the pixel connectivity.
