Summary:
In this paper, we demonstrate the formation of focusing beam from millimeter-wave lens antennas for living-body exposure experiment. We measured incident E-field distribution on a transversal plane, and reconstructed electromagnetic field on the other plane by the plane-wave expansion method. Next, the accuracy of beam reconstruction was evaluated. Additionaly, we have calculated the field distribution with a living-body model irradiated by the beam, and investigated the dependence of the SAR distribution on the skin surface with considering the positioning error, oblique incidence, uncertainty of electrical constants and thickness of skin.
