Summary: 
This paper describes a design method of the transfer function of parallelform low delay maximally flat bandpass finite impulse response (FIR) digital filters. We show relations between the degree of flatness of amplitude characteristics and the degree of flatness of group delay characteristics at ω = ω0. It is possible to obtain the transfer function with the specified degree of flatness at center angular frequency in the passband ω = ω0, ω =0 and ω = π. In addition, the obtained transfer function has the specified group delay at ω = ω0. The proposed transfer function has contained the transfer function of the well-known linear phase maximally flat FIR bandpass filter. We show an effectiveness of the proposed transfer function by examples.
