In recent years, a biological information monitoring system that constantly monitors patient's vital information is used in a hospital. However, patients suffer from limitations on motion by cables and transmitter. In addition, congestion in the 2.4 GHz band has occurred due to an increase in the number of devices using the wireless LAN in the hospital. In this paper, we propose a 5.2 GHz textile antenna as a transmitting antenna for a biological information monitoring system. The proposed antenna has a simple structure that can be manufactured at low cost, and this antenna is able to handle both horizontally polarized waves and vertically polarized waves by radiates elliptically polarized waves. This antenna was designed to transmit both polarized waves and confirmed to work well with experiments.
