The detection of a target by a search radar using heterogeneous sensors is an important problem. However, optimal beam positioning algorithms with prior less-accurate sensor information have not been considered. This study proposes a radar beam positioning algorithm to maximize the mean detection probability using the distribution of passive angle sensor tracking observations. The validity of the proposed algorithm was confirmed via computer simulations.
