We present a novel bandwidth enhancement technique for a transimpedance amplifier (TIA). The proposed TIA utilizes a common-source topology and adopts the current mirror circuit. Circuit simulation results show that the proposed TIA enables the bandwidth to be doubled compared to the conventional one.
