An image enlargement based on fuzzy-based half-pixel generation that was proposed by the authors, is further improved in this paper. The proposed modification enables image enlargement that preserves sharp lines with fewer artifacts, in addition to the edge preservation that was achieved by the previous method. The experimental results demonstrates that the performance of the newly proposed half-pixel approach is superior to that of previous one in both numerical and visual quality.
